Endocrinology / Diabetes

The Department of Endocrinology specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of hormone-related disorders which include: diabetes, thyroid disorders, transgender medicine, osteoporosis, calcium disorders, adrenal gland problems, pituitary disorders and a variety of male and female hormone issues.

At our downtown location, we have a full service Diabetes Center which provides diabetes education, dietary counseling, and insulin pump starts. We are also equipped to perform thyroid ultrasound, thyroid biopsies, and bone density testing within the Heritage network.

We take a very detail-oriented approach towards the diagnosis and treatment of complex endocrine disorders, and we work closely with surgeons and other specialists to ensure that our patients receive the best endocrine care.
