Rebecca DeClue, Ph.D.

About

Dr. DeClue is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Tennessee and Missouri. She is also a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. She earned her Ph.D. from Baylor University and completed her post-doctoral residency in community mental health, with a particular focus in bridging the gap in service provision between clinical and academic environments.

Dr. DeClue has experience working in a variety of clinical and educational settings. Her previous roles include leading the interdisciplinary assessment team at Baylor’s Center for Developmental Disabilities and Baylor Autism Resource Clinic; creating and implementing the Runaways Program for the Juvenile Justice System in Waco, TX; developing and leading the Pediatric Screening Team for McLane Children’s Hospital in Temple, TX; and partnering with Head Start for early intervention programming in Columbia, MO. 

Dr. DeClue specializes in diagnostic evaluation and treatment of children, adolescents, and young adults. Her clinical interests include developmental disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), disruptive/oppositional behavior management, attachment disorders, learning disabilities, anxiety, depression, trauma, and parenting. She also has an extensive background in working with gifted/talented and twice-exceptional children and adolescents. Dr. DeClue believes in an ecological systems-based approach to treatment, which emphasizes addressing the multi-level needs of each person across settings (familial, academic, social, and community).

In her free time, Dr. DeClue enjoys coaching youth volleyball, book collecting, and gardening.
