About

Dr. Franklin is a compassionate and experienced physician dedicated to providing personalized, patient-centered care. A Nashville native, Dr. Franklin earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and graduated with honors from Meharry Medical College in Nashville. Dr. Franklin then completed her Internal Medicine residency training at St. Thomas Midtown in Nashville, where she served as Chief Resident.

Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Franklin has 15 years of practice experience. She believes in building strong, long-term relationships with patients and families, working collaboratively with them, and offering guidance and medical expertise to empower them in their healthcare decisions. 

Dr. Franklin is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the American Medical Association, the Tennessee Medical Association, and the Nashville Academy of Medicine.

Outside the office, Dr. Franklin enjoys quality time with her husband, two daughters, and beloved pets—two dogs and two cats. She is an avid University of Tennessee football fan and loves cheering on the Volunteers.
