Dr. Fentriss graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and has practiced Internal Medicine in Nashville since 1997. She greatly enjoys the lifelong relationships she develops with her patients. Though highly trained and well experienced in diagnosing and treating complex medical disease processes, she also values and spends much time working on preventing disease and maintaining health. Every patient in her practice will meet with her for an annual Wellness Exam to establish a personalized plan for the upcoming year.

Dr. Fentriss is one of several physicians within Heritage Medical Associates affiliated with MDVIP and specializes in this personalized approach to patient care – incorporating evidence-based medicine in ways that best suit each individual while maintaining unrushed patient visits with scheduling flexibility.

Dr. Fentriss is an active member of the Nashville medical community and has served as President and Chairman of the Board of the Nashville Academy of Medicine, President of Tennessee Women in Medicine, and as a member of the Ethics Committee at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital. Within Heritage Medical Associates Dr. Fentriss has served on the Board of Directors. Nationally, Dr. Fentriss is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. She continues to teach medical students from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine regularly.
