About

Dr. Allison Smith was a Chemistry major at Princeton University and received her MD at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. After completing an internship at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan, she obtained her ophthalmology training at the University of California at Davis. She was board certified in ophthalmology and spent three years practicing general ophthalmology in the Silicon Valley near San Francisco.

Dr. Smith greatly enjoys performing cataract surgery and treating all types of eye disease. She is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
