About

Dr. Ozan was born in San Antonio, Texas in 1967. At the age of eight he knew he wanted to be a physician. After rigorous college prep courses in high school focused on science, he attended the Honors program as a pre-med major at St. Mary's University and from there was accepted into the medical school, University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.

In 1996, after graduating from the Medical College of Ohio (now called University of Toledo), he finished his residency in Internal Medicine he worked for a private office affiliated with the medical school and joined the General Internal Medicine department faculty at the college.

After two years in a private practice in Ohio he opened his own practice in San Antonio before joining a multi-specialty group, WellMed in 2006. At that time, he married his lovely wife, Samantha. Since then, he has been blessed with two beautiful children, Megan and Justin and cherishes their family time.

Dr. Ozan has also volunteered as teacher in affiliation with the UT Health Science Center and was selected as one of SA Magazine's “Top Doctors” in 2009 and again in 2012.

His hobbies include traveling, exploring nature and playing chess. He is also a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Society and has been on multiple medical mission trips to help people in need.
