In this role, you'll handle a mix of clerical, administrative, and clinical tasks, working within the scope allowed by Tennessee state law. You may be assigned to a specific clinic or provider or float between locations based on business needs. Success in this position requires strong collaboration skills with physicians, providers, teammates, patients, and the public, ensuring smooth and efficient operations in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Internal Medicine

Location: Downtown Nashville

Rheumatology

Location: Downtown Nashville

This position provides professional nursing care that entails coordinating treatments for patients, obtaining prior authorizations, filing specialty claims, and billing for medications. More specifically, the infusionist is responsible for starting the IV, setting up the medication administration, monitoring the patient through the duration of the infusion and taking down the IV at the end of the infusion.

This position performs routine clerical, administrative, and clinical duties within the scope allowed for TN state law. This position may be assigned to a specific clinic/provider and/or float to various clinics/providers based on business needs and must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with physicians, providers, fellow team members, patients, and the general public in the performance of all job duties. In addition to the duties listed below, the MA may be required to perform other related duties as requested/assigned at a level that meets and/or exceeds HMA expectations.

Obstetrics and Gynecology

Location: Westgate

This position provides professional nursing care; assists the provider with patient care. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the care rendered to patients with routine, urgent or potential health problems.

Endocrinology

Location: Downtown Nashville

This position is a licensed independent practitioner who is responsible for managing and coordinating care of patients in accordance with state and federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards of care. The advance practitioner is supervised by a physician.

Clinical Department

Location: Downtown Nashville

This position will be responsible for conducting onboarding and continued training for new and existing clinical staff and will work with the clinical training team to ensure patient care excellence is achieved. This position will be focused on training staff to perform clinical onboarding duties within their scope of practice that is allowed under Tennessee State law and any other duties that may be assigned.

Business Office

Location: Downtown Nashville

This position post payments and contractual adjustments both electronically and manually for all insurance carriers accurately and timely to ensure efficiency in the revenue cycle management process. Other duties/responsibilities may be assigned.
