About

Jonathan Gish earned his MSSW from the University of Tennessee and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Tennessee. He has over 10 years of experience as a therapist in Nashville and the Middle Tennessee area. He has provided counseling to children and adolescents as well as adults and families in a variety of settings including school systems, community outreach and private practice.

Jonathan commonly works with patients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and issues of grief and loss. He also frequently works with patients going through life transitions, family issues, anger management and other mood related issues. He is trained in multiple therapeutic modalities including cognitive and dialectical behavior therapies, acceptance and commitment therapy, and EMDR. In his free time, he enjoys many outdoor activities, exercise, and spending time with his family.
