About

Dr. Heidi Rinderer (Rand) enjoys the variety and challenges of dermatology. Her practice includes adult and pediatric medical and surgical dermatology as well as minor cosmetic dermatology such as Botox, collagen/Restylane, vein injections, and facial peels. A native of Illinois, Dr. Rinderer completed her undergraduate training at Illinois Wesleyan University.

She earned her M.D. degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine where she graduated first in her class. Dr. Rinderer then completed her internal medicine internship and dermatology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she was chief resident in dermatology. Dr. Rinderer is certified by the American Board of Dermatology, and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Society, Tennessee Women in Medicine, Women’s Dermatological Society, Nashville Dermatological Society, and the American Academy of Dermatology. She entered private practice in Nashville in 2001.

After time off for maternity leave, Dr. Rinderer is happy to now be joining Heritage Medical Associates. She, her husband, and young son enjoy living in Nashville along with their two cats. Dr. Rinderer is involved in church and community volunteer activities. She really enjoys running, hiking, gardening, and spending time with her family.
